There are three different search modes available in Web OPAC: Browse, Basic Search and Advanced Search. The CCL Search is not fully operational yet. For more information see the Search hints below the search fields and also the Help section.


Browse:

The Browse Search allows to search the catalogue in alphabetical or numerical order. You can browse forward or backwards through a scrollable list of selected indexes. You can choose one of the indexes:
    Library name
    Site
    Location code


Basic Search :

The Search function enables you to find records by entering keywords or phrases. Available indexes are:
    Library name
    Site
    Location code
    Library name / Site / Code (All fields)


Advanced Search:

Advanced Search lets you search the database by entering keywords. Pull-down menus can be used to specify fields and define search mode. The relationship between the three fields is handled by the logical operator AND. It offers the same indexes as the Basic Search:
    Library name
    Site
    Location code
    Library name / Site / Code (All fields)


CCL Search:

Soon it will be possible to use Common Command Language (CCL) to search for words and headings in several different indexes at once. You will have to specify the code of the word and the heading indexes to be searched. The common abbreviations used in CCL can be found in the Help - CCL Code section or below the search fields in Search hints. The abbreviations for ADR database will be ready soon.
